Custom design services for new LED lighting systems.

Looking for a way to improve visibility or indoor life quality?

Our expertise lies in the combination of different wavelengths and their effective synergies.

ADSOL can help you in your scientific research to innovate whether for academic or industrial purposes.
We have contributed to various university projects by implementing our LED technologies in their project facilities.

We actively do scientific research to help you achieve your goals. For example, we have developed a commercial lighting system to promote the reproduction of the black soldier fly in a project conducted in collaboration with Dr. Grant Vandenberg of Laval University.

Our LED technology is used in another project at Laval University where the objective is to grow vegetables in containers in order to improve the quality of life of the Inuit in Northern Quebec.

Currently, we are designing a prototype to cure bees that have been infected by pesticides. Other projects are underway with our commercial partners on the disinfection and elimination of bacteria and pathogens in agri-food and pharmaceutical processing plants.

In parallel, we are developing a new type of indoor disinfection lighting that is a 100% safe for humans and animals, targeting the elimination of viral structures such as the coronavirus and the influenza virus. This research is conducted with Dr. Benoit Barbeau of the University of UQAM and ADSOL.

We will soon start a new collaboration with researcher Alexandre Thibodeau from the University of Montreal for pathogen elimination in the egg industry.

In 2019, we helped Ms. Demers from the University of Architecture in Laval to develop the first artificial sky in a joint project to replace 80, 4 FT fluorescent tubes with only 40 LED fixtures with two types of 1600K and 10000K LEDs. These LEDs were controlled to go through a color range of 1600K, 2000K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000, 6000K up to 10000K.

ADSOL is dedicated to customer satisfaction by conducting follow-ups to verify the conditions and performance of your projects. Contact us today for your Advanced Solution.

Custom LED strip lighting and disinfection design, assembly, and installation services

ADSOL enhances the quality and beauty of LED strip lighting systems by adding what no other manufacturer can do – disinfecting the premises while the systems are lighting your living spaces.
Whether you are a contractor, architect, or interior designer, ADSOL can provide you with LED strip lights and/or disinfection systems tailored to your needs.
ADSOL offers you turnkey solutions. You can send us a project drawing and we will assemble the parts. The LED strips are welded and fixed on aluminum bars for heat dissipation. The electrical power is measured to determine the appropriate power for the transformers. The final product will be delivered and/or installed as a ready-to-use product.
Also, depending on your needs, we can build a modular lighting and disinfection system with LED strips in which the different colors or channels can be controlled independently. This will give you the possibility to modify other projects that involve moving sections of furniture.
For more information, contact us or visit the “Projects” section or the ADSOL Facebook page.

Here are a few examples of industries that can benefit from LED strip lighting and sanitizing technology:
– Display cases
– Furniture for display
– Mirror frames
– Refrigerators and commercial displays
– Interior and exterior barriers
– Stair treads
– Pool edges (waterproof strips)

Light intensity measurement services in Quebec greenhouses

You wish to improve your horticultural yields?

You notice that in your greenhouse, the plants do not grow as expected or need more time than usual, you do not reach the desired production volume, or the plants are sick or infested several times during production. ADSOL can help you understand and solve your yield problems in a controlled environment in terms of photosynthetic light by providing a complete analysis of your horticultural production situation. ADSOL is equipped with specialized instruments such as a radiometer and a spectrometer to measure light quality. Traditional units of light measurement, such as foot candle, lumen, lux, etc., are designed to characterize the level of perception of the human eye. In the case of photosynthesis, the terms PAR (photosynthetically active radiation), PPF (photosynthetic photon flux), PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density), and irradiance are used to characterize the quality of light received by plants.
PAR refers to the number of wavelengths between 400 and 700 nm responsible for photosynthesis.
It is therefore important to know the “PAR” quality of an artificial lighting system.
The PPF defines the amount of PAR a light emits per second (μmol / s). Since not all radiation reaches plants, PPFD (μmol / m2 / s) measures the amount of PAR they receive at their surface. Irradiance (mW / cm2) refers to the energy flux that reaches your plants.
It is known that irradiance is responsible for plant growth. However, it is also important to know the spectral combination of a light source. It can be missing energies in a specific area of the spectral range that is important for the vegetation or flowering phase of photosynthesis.

In addition, with the experience gained over the years, ADSOL approaches the problem not only from the lighting point of view, but also from the 9 variables to be considered in a controlled environment, such as environment, ambient temperature, humidity, etc. ADSOL’s reports include a spectral view of your current lighting, and we can determine which wavelength peaks are present or not. Generally, our findings do not require replacement of current equipment of the entire facility. Instead, depending on the characteristics of your light source, we can add the missing wavelength range to optimize the photosynthesis of your cultivars.
ADSOL considers your needs so that your plants grow more vigorously and remain healthy, without forgetting that ADSOL can also add only the phytosanitary spectrum if the other wavelengths are in the current spectrum, to make your crops more vigorous and more resistant to parasites and insect pests, generating healthier crops, free of bacteria such as E.coli, salmonella and with more vitamins and antioxidants.
